Flynn Restaurant Group Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics in INDEPENDENCE, Ohio
Position Description
Based in Cleveland, OH, this position for a Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics will be responsible for providing expertise in analytics, machine learning, and big data across our portfolio. Reporting to our Manager of Pricing & Advanced Analytics, this will be a key role with visibility across all departments and direct access to senior leadership across our seven iconic brands.
Essential responsibilities include:
Measure promotion and ad spend effectiveness by leveraging media mix modelling approaches and A/B testing.
Support pricing analytics by providing price recommendations based on inputs such as item-level price elasticities and competitive data.
Work with the Data Engineering team to provide context and framework as new data sources become available.
Assist in driving various value creation opportunities across all departments including Operations, Human Recourses, Finance, and Real Estate.
Summarize and synthesize core findings and provide recommendations based on data analysis - presenting to Heads of Marketing and Senior operators.
Desired skills and experience:
History of academic success with 3+ years of professional experience in analytics, data science, and problem solving.
Experience in marketing analytics, such as media mix modelling and sales lift measurement.
Skilled in Excel, SQL, and Python/R.
Experience with Bayesian Linear Regression highly preferred.
Experience processing, filtering, and validating large quantities of data.
Strong analytical skills; attention to detail and ability to multi-task and function at a high level under tight deadlines.
Proven ability to get up to speed quickly on new industries, businesses, and concepts.
Above all else, a self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude and sense of humor.
