We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with at least 7 years of strong Product Development experience, preferably in the Industrial Machinery field. This is a Direct-Placement opportunity with excellent company benefits and PTO! Candidates must have a BS and/or MS in Mechanical Engineering.

Essential Job Functions
3D modeling & drawing creation for new products (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
Effective use and understanding of GD&T
Design of machined parts
Design of cast parts
Able to generate multiple concepts to meet the given product requirements
Development project planning
Resources required
Budgets/ capital expenditures
Timelines
Third part testing needs
Design of experiments for product validation testing
Fixture design
Fixtures to facilitate assembly of various products in a production environment
Test fixtures for production performance validation
Test fixtures for engineering tests: vibration testing, thermal testing, PCBA testing
Adapter shafts and mounting plates
Able to communicate technical aspects in laymen's terms to non-engineering personnel
Assembly instructions for shop floor personnel
Process standards
Production testing procedures
Status reports for management
Hands on experience with testing and evaluation of prototypes
Accurate and concise report writing skills
Product test reports
Failure analysis reports
Benchmark testing reports
Intermediate skills with common lab/shop tools: Drill press, hand tools, arbor press, torque wrenches, bearing splitters
