Description

Robert Half has an excellent job opportunity for an articulate, highly-skilled Customer Service Representative looking to expand their career. This Customer Service Representative opportunity is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is a long-term contract / contract-to-hire engagement.

  • Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting customers via phone, email, chat, or in-person interactions.

  • Problem Resolution: Identify customer concerns or complaints and work proactively to resolve issues, escalate complex issues as needed, and follow up to ensure resolution.

  • Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and other departments to relay information, provide updates, and collaborate on issue resolution.

  • Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the company's CRM system, maintaining detailed records for future reference and analysis.

  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and relay this information to relevant departments for action.

  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement in customer service processes and procedures, and collaborate with team members and management to implement solutions.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all customer interactions and transactions.

    Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or customer-facing role, preferably in a retail, hospitality, or call center environment.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly, listen actively, and empathize with customers' needs and concerns.

  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations, identify solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Empathy and Patience: Demonstrated ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic when dealing with challenging or upset customers, maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.

  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Technical Proficiency: Basic proficiency with computer systems, including data entry, navigating multiple applications simultaneously, and using CRM software or similar tools.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, processes, and procedures in a dynamic customer service environment.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in order processing, documentation, and communication with customers.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent education required; additional education or training in customer service or related fields is a plus.
