National Dentex Dental Lab Technician II (Denture Setup) in Indianapolis, Indiana

We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Lumident Dental Lab located in Indianapolis, IN, for a full time Dental Lab Technician II (Denture Setup).
The regular hours for this position are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
Check models for defect that need correcting before fabrication begins
Check articulation of models for proper occlusal relationship
Post dam upper models
Set pin on articulator to establish vertical relationship
Double check teeth to be used for correct mold and shade
Place wax on baseplate and set teeth on the arch in proper alignment to achieve proper function and good aesthetics. If setting for wax try-in, soak model in water before set-up. Check occlusion to be sure correct bite relationship has been achieved
All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
Detail oriented
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have 12 months of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician.

Hand-pieces
Chemicals
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
