Fixed Operations Manager Job Description
Reporting to a Area Manager , Fixed Operations Manager pos ition is responsible for managing the delivery of D W services at an assigned fixed site location ( s ) for auction , dealer , or rental customers . Primar y duties include managing vehicle flow , technicians, customer relationships, supplies , and repa ir quality .
Ope rations
Implement and exec ute processes to maximize facility c apacity.
Kee p team informed as to daily priorities and expectations .
Ensure team has ample supplies and pro per equipment to deliver tim el y and quality repairs.
C onduct quality control checks to ensure repair s meet /exceed standards. Distribute re-do list and follow up to ensure that appropriate repairs are completed.
Ensure all technic ians and other personnel have proper direction, ample work load, and w orking at peak efficiency.
Manage all supplies and controlling waste while keeping sufficient stock .
Ensure that DW facilities and/or work areas are kept clean and orderly at all times .
C ommunicate with the DM as to any pertinent situation, possible opportunity and help create a plan for i mplementation if deemed a viable opportunity .
Ensure compliance with company policies including all pertinent employment, safety, environmental laws and requirements to ensure a workplace that safeguards the rights and physical well-being of every employee.
People Management
Create a positi ve, productive working environment co nsistent with Dent Wizard ’ s Core Values.
Lead and m entor Technicians through da ily inter face, both formal and informal, and building relationships based on mutual re spect a nd trust .
Ensure team understand s the ir roles a nd expectations .
Proactively identify and resolve issues with employee performance.
Work with DM to ensure proper staffing levels are met to handle current and new business opportunities .
Conduct informal and formal performance reviews to en sure employees are aware of their strengths and opportunities for improvement and develop plans to improve their performance .
Co ordinate new hire o n-boarding to ensure smooth transition into the organization.
Customer Rel ations
Build effective cus tomer relationship s to maximi ze revenue, exp and services , and create a part nership .
Proactiv e l y ad d r ess quality , cycle time or other cu stomer concer ns .
Provide regular reports/ upda tes on work loads, cycle times, operational challenge s, e t c. to
Promote DW’s reconditioning services, people a nd direction in a positive manner .
If applicable, w alk and estimate cust omer vehicles on a regular bas is to find opportunit ies .
Conduct weekly updates and monthly reviews with ke y customer contact s .
Q ualifications
O utstanding c ommunication skills and exceptional attention to detail .
Proven ability to manage, coach , and lead others .
Excellent time-manage ment skills .
P aint, b ody shop, PDR or reconditioning skills a plus .
Demonstrated ability to create and/or implement processes.
Strong organizational and planning skills .

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Base Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000. The total compensation package may also include commission or bonus.
