Position Summary
Position is responsible for clerical and staff support and project assistance for Division/Section.
Position Responsibilities
Greets and assists all persons who come into the office.
Receives, makes or transfers telephone calls.
Gathers information as necessary.
Types and edits forms, reports, memos, correspondence, and/or handbooks. Includes word processing.
Takes minutes at meetings, when requested.
Sets up and maintains files and manuals.
Distributes records/reports as needed.
Schedules appointments and meetings for staff.

Qualifications
High School diploma and/or GED, and at least one (1) years experience in a general office environment and the ability to type accurately is required. Effective oral and written communication skills, general office experience. Ability to operate standard office equipment, telephone, and computer operation skills are required.
Independent Judgment
Position requires the knowledge of established policies and procedures, which controls most of the incumbent(s) actions. Very limited independent judgment is utilized.
