Responsibilities
Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital is currently seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist. Fellowship training or board certification in pediatric hospital medicine is not necessary.
Practice Highlights:
Caring for inpatients with diverse diagnoses
Medical Control for our Pediatric Ground Transport
Procedural Sedation
Support provided by a large variety of medical and surgical subspecialties.
Co Management common between hospitalist and surgical and medical subspecialists
Opportunities to work with residents and medical students and provide major role in pediatric residency education
Join a collegial team of 12 pediatric hospitalists
Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital is part of Indiana’s largest not-for-profit health system. Features include: An attached tertiary care pediatric hospital with 40 private inpatient beds and 8 short stay beds, staffed in-house 24/7 by our Pediatric Hospitalist group; a 15-bed PICU staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Intensivists; a 17-bed Pediatric Emergency department staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Emergency physicians; and one of Indiana’s largest Level IV NICUs staffed 24/7 by Neonatologists. Peyton Manning Children’s hospital has Level I surgery verification, Level I Trauma verification, and a pediatric burn center.
Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital is soon opening a brand new Women and Infants Hospital that will include the largest Level IV NICU in the state at 109 beds. This new hospital will ensure that Women and Children can receive the highest level of care for all services under one roof.

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
