Job Title: Travel CNC Machinist

Job Description

  • Candidates should have solid experience in CNC (Lathe/Mill) Machining, including proficiency in multi-axis machining and the capability to input programming into FANUC, Siemens, or other similar controllers.

  • Key responsibilities include producing high-quality parts, ensuring quality control, maintaining a clean workspace, operating and setting up CNC and NC controlled machines, interpreting CNC programs and job instruction sheets, managing time effectively, and collaborating within a team.

  • The role requires the use of overhead cranes and other lifting devices to handle large parts, fabricating and modifying parts, calculating dimensions and tolerances, and inspecting completed units for specification conformity.

  • The position may require overtime to meet manufacturing demands and offers opportunities for advancement based on attendance and performance.

Hard Skills

  • CNC Lathe and Mill Machining expertise

  • Proficiency in machine setup and operation

  • Experience with multi-axis CNC machining and CNC programming

  • Knowledge of G&M codes and ability to make tool offsets and changes

  • Understanding of machining principles, blueprint reading, and geometric tolerances

  • Familiarity with quality data and lean manufacturing environments

Shift

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Pay

  • $37 an hour + $150 per diem for candidates 75 miles out from the facility

Work Environment

  • Our facility is a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment, split between assembly and machine shop operations.

  • We prioritize a clean and safe workspace and maintain a relaxed dress code.

  • Compliance with PPE standards, including steel/composite toe shoes, earplugs, and protective glasses, is mandatory.
