Commercial Bank Loan Closer Sr
The Commercial Bank Loan Closer Senior works to support the closing of loans and processing of an array of banking commercial products. Under limited supervision, this job works on projects and prospects associated with commercial operations by supporting data input processes, quality control, client statement preparations and error identification relating to the closing of loans. This job elevates reporting issues to senior professionals and consistently works to maintain the accuracy of the company's commercial loan management system.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Reviews and verifies data inputs from loan applications and related documentation and coordinates the closing and funding of assigned loan packages.
Works to ensure quality, accuracy and completeness of data entered into a commercial loan management system.
Calculates final closing costs and supports disbursement of funds in accordance with loan documentation.
Provides information on closing loans to clients as requested.
Implements best practices for resolving out-of-balance transactions to ensure accuracy of the company’s commercial loan management system.
Identifies erroneous transactions and escalates issues to senior colleagues for issue resolution.
Provides assistance and training to lower level employees to ensure high quality delivery of services and products.
Educational Requirements

Additional Information
- This position supports the closing of multifamily loans. Liaison between escrow and title companies and Multifamily Lending production and processing teams, ensuring a timely closing of each loan transaction.
Preferred Qualifications
Commercial real estate lending experience
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and achieve goals in a dynamic environment
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including explanations of complex concepts
Knowledge of all requirements of OFAC, REG B, CIP, CDD, REG O & REG W
