Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Irvine, California

Description

Plan, organize and coordinate administrative functions related to office supplies, office equipment, Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Human Resources to help the Irvine headquarters run smoothly.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Human Resources

Assist VP of Human Resources with day to day activities related to Human Resources

Help the company maintain compliance with US State and Federal labor laws.

New hire onboarding including:

Create new hire packets in compliance with state laws and federal regulations as well as company requirements.

Provide HR onboarding paperwork/documents to new hire, collect and file required paperwork.

Coordinate with Global CTI new employee setup on software and systems

First-day new hire orientation. Basic information about computers, standard software provided (email, office apps, barracuda spam filter) and Unite phone system.

Employee Terminations

Create employee termination packets in compliance with State and Federal requirements. Coordinate with payroll and management final pay paperwork. Collect and file paperwork.

Employee relations Answer questions from employees regarding company policies, benefits, HR related matters, etc.

Leaves of Absences - Follow Federal and State guidelines for when employees request a leave of absence. Provide information and guidance on next steps to managers and employees. Maintain proper records of employee leave of absence.

Participate in the analysis of health benefits with VP of HR and benefits broker Millennium and help conduct annual Open Enrollment.

Health Benefits administration and support for day to day communications with the carriers and broker

HRIS maintenance - ADP WorkForce Now platform administrator (Practitioner) for HR related modules. Help maintain employee database including updates to the dashboard and customizations.
