This person will lead the execution of a broad variety of strategic transactions including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, IP/Technology licenses, partnerships, and minority investments.

How you'll make a difference:

• Develop and plan complex valuation models and preparing valuation analyses of potential acquisition targets, incorporating DCF analysis, comparable transactions, and other valuation methods.

• Provide direction and guidance to project teams to execute tactical corporate development projects and/or initiatives

• Identify and evaluate process improvement and/or course correction/course alignment opportunities

• Prepare and analyze alternative deal structuring options

• Perform detailed financial analyses of therapy opportunities

• Maintain Edwards Corporate Development pipeline

• Coordinate the prepare of definitive agreement schedules

• Other incidental duties

What you'll need (Required):

Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience or

Master's Degree with 8 years of experience Required experience working in a large manufacturing company Preferred

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Proven successful project management skills

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and systems

• Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

• Recognized as an expert in own area with specialized depth and breadth of expertise

• Expert understanding of related aspects of corporate development processes and/or systems

• Strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $138,000 to $196,000 (highly experienced).
