Actalent Senior R&d Engineer in Irvine, California
Description:
Develop manufacturing processes both internally and externally
Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing process
Participate as needed in cross functional product design teams and generate novel implant designs for use in the transcatheter mitral space.
Generate work instructions, test methods, engineering models and drawings/prototypes to establish/characterize product and/or process specifications.
Device and run experiments, analyze results, provide recommendations, and produce reports

Iso 13485,
R&d,
nitinol,
Class III,
New product development,
Design,
Mechanical,
solidworks,
six sigma blackbelt
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering
Minimum 4 years medical device
Wire and braided wire experience a plus
Experience designing novel implantable devices
Plus to have a six sigma blackbelt tools such as DOE and GR&R
Experience in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, ProE)
Experience Level:
