Verdantas Senior Special Inspector in Irvine, California
Verdantas has an immediate opening for several Special Inspectors in our Materials Testing, Geotechnical and Environmental Consulting Service sectors.
Ideal candidates will have preferably more than one certification in the following:
• ICC Fireproofing
• ICC Masonry
• ICC Pre-Stressed Concrete
• ICC Reinforced Concrete
• ICC Soils
• ICC Structural Steel Bolting (S1)
• ICC Structural Steel and Welding (S2)
• AWS/CWI Welding
• DSA Masonry
• NDT Level II
Qualifications:
• You must be able to read and understand blue prints and current code requirements.
• The successful candidate will be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standards related to the construction and inspections.
• Maintenance of proper and complete files of field and laboratory data, daily reports, letters, RFI’s and other pertinent field data as well as clear communications with the Project Manager and the client’s representatives are required.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, good organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
• A current, valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.
