job summary:
The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for leading projects in the data and analytics domain. This position involves providing strategy, planning, guidance and oversight of technical implementations.

Job Duties -
Accountable for defining, planning, orchestrating, and delivering one or more data & analytics projects
Ensures end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit
Directs large-scale, complex projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents and partners
Directly manages all aspects of the project life cycle and oversees all phases of a project
Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters
Validates financial forecasts, cost assumptions, and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
Defines and tracks Hybrid development milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
Communicates project status across delivery teams, stakeholders and executive leadership
Job Requirements -
7+ years managing Data & Analytics waterfall and/or hybrid projects
Exceptional understanding of data & analytics domain, including data lakes, modeling, ingestion & SQL
Excellent communication (oral and written)
Experience managing both Waterfall and Hybrid projects
MS Project experience
Proven ability to quickly build relationships and earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders and navigate the organization effectively
Mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict
Able to make tough decisions and deliver tough messages with grace
Able to execute with limited information and ambiguity
Able to uncover risks and issues, able to see linkages and dependencies across projects
Sound business and technical acumen
Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
Dynamic, capable of juggling several critical priorities at once
Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure
Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Assertive and hands-on professional who thrives in a fast paced, change rich environment
strong SDLC/PMLC understanding and hands-on experience
