Job Title: Sr. Tech Specialist, Vehicle Dynamics & Chassis IntegrationJob Description
As a Senior Technical Specialist in Vehicle Dynamics & Chassis Integration, you will spearhead the entire process from program definition to start of production (SOP) for vehicle dynamics and chassis integration. You will be responsible for delivering refined, stable, connected, and capable driving dynamics within the program constraints and assumptions. Your role involves leading and executing vehicle dynamic target setting, predictive analysis, benchmarking, and functional requirements. Additionally, you will manage aerodynamics targets, frame compliance, support chassis DRE's functional requirements, and collaborate with the NVH team for secondary ride and road noise refinement. You will lead vehicle dynamics analysis using tools like Ahlman Engineering Dynamic powered by CarSim & SuspensionSim, ensuring model validation with physical data, conducting tire testing and analysis, and overseeing supplier requirements and test plans. Your responsibilities also include chassis system integration, specifying and setting up data acquisition systems, and creating vehicle dynamics tools and methods. Furthermore, you will provide mentorship to other team members and manage software updates as necessary.
