As a Business Transformation Manager for the Electric Power Division, you will be out in front of the industry working directly with our end use customers to understand their needs, propose solutions to challenges they didn’t anticipate and develop energy outcomes to serve their future power needs.

In this role, together with the extended business development team and the wider electric power organization, you will be responsible for driving incremental volume in the prime power generation space. Whether it’s CHP (Combined Heat and Power), Utility Capacity (Bridge to Grid), Biogas, Mine Site Electrification or another industry that needs reliable power, you will be there to support and fuel the growth. You will support the communication, collaboration and processes around driving incremental growth on prime running power generation.

What you will do:

  • Analyze and review market data to provide input to field teams on where opportunity pools are.

  • Own and maintain dashboards and tools to support sales funnel management, including wins and losses.

  • Sharing regional best practices to accelerate growth.

  • Creating and cascading communications to support change management.

  • Developing and designing the global go to market strategy for prime running power generation in Electric Power.

  • Identify, advocate and drive execution of Caterpillars presence with new industry shows, associations and partnerships to increase brand awareness and sales.

What You Have:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar discipline

Industry Knowledge:

• Demonstrates current knowledge of the regulatory environment for industry segment

• Currently works with a major industry segment and associated functions and features

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

  • Teaches others about a variety of tools and techniques for evaluating market potential.

  • Develops standard processes to maximize business efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Coaches’ others on the design and implementation of campaigns to present products to new markets.

Summary Pay Range:

$144,960.00 - $217,320.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
