Accenture Program & Project Manager in Irving, Texas
Job Description Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who can also take on the responsibilities of Technical Project Manager and/or an Agile Scrum Master (if needed). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Additionally, the candidate should have extensive experience in Agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies and be able to lead teams effectively.
The potential candidates will be part of project delivery teams, ensuring high-quality technology solutions and predictable outcomes. You must use standard project management tools, methodologies, and processes to deliver, monitor, and control service level agreements. You are an Agilist with experience promoting adaptive planning, evolutionary development, and flexible responses to change.

The Work:
Determine the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule.
Confirm scope, develop and/or review estimates and estimating assumptions.
Define team member roles and expectations and ensure timely feedback. Ensure that project resources receive any necessary training and are used effectively.
Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary.
Possesses expertise in Jira, Microsoft Project and other relevant work management tools, with the ability to configure and build appropriate dashboards
Accountable for ensuring technology solutions represent current and future business requirements.
Define the project iterations and release strategy. Manage and evaluate iterations.
With other leads, develop the work plan, implement, and maintain the management plans, including the configuration management, measurement, and quality management plans.
Ensure that all requirements, work plan, management plans and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members.
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations. Manage relationships with all suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor their progress and adherence to the contract.
Participate in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice. Ensure that the project team follows all quality assurance processes.
Review and manage all changes to the requirements through a formally defined scope change process and drive delivery.
Represent the project team at client meetings. Obtain buy-in from senior management for all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, and scope changes.
Ensure that the project’s assigned portion of the Business Case planned value is delivered.
Ensure that the end product fulfills the contract and meets the sponsor's expectations.
Possesses experience in Agile or Hybrid delivery models, with proficiency in the following areas
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective).
Ensure the team follows Agile principles and practices.
Remove impediments and blockers to the team's progress.
Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed and prioritized.
Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.
Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase productivity.
Coach team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.
This role requires onsite at our Dallas, TX office
Basic Qualification:
Minimum 1+ years of experience in the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) and/or any other popular Agile practices and frameworks (e.g. Lean, Kanban, eXtreme Programming).
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in some of the key Program & Project Management Functions listed here:
Program/Project Planning
Work Planning and Management
Scope Change Management
Performance and Reporting Management
Resource Management
Quality Management
Risk, Issue and Dependency Management
Distributed Project Management
Stakeholder Management
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
Preferred Qualifications:
One or more certifications in Project Management, Program Management, Agile, and/or SAFe.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
