Insight Global Senior Data Engineer in Irving, Texas
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a large healthcare organization in Irving, TX. This individual will join a team focused on underwriting and rebates, and will be assisting with a project involving the forecasting of new clients and analysis of existing clients. Day to Day, this Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for building out data pipelines and APIs using Python, optimizing queries, and data modeling. This individual should come from a strong background of data engineering with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL and Cloud platform (GCP preferred).

Skills and Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Hands-on coding experience with Python, specifically building out data pipelines and building APIs in Python
- Strong background with SQL
- Experience with query optimization, including data structures, transformation, metadata, dependency and workload management.
- Knowledge surrounding data warehouses, including data modeling and technical architecture
- Experience with big data and cloud architecture, GCP is preferred cloud platform
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with internal - Azure experience null
