Our client is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for a 6+ month contract in Irving, TX. Will be working on an Onsite schedule.
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Required Skills & Experience
Degree in Computer Science or similar area of study.
6 years of experience in QA automation experience in writing automation frameworks from scratch.
1 year of experience in Mongo DB, Node.JS, and AWS (Lambda, Step functions and Cloud watch).
Experience with TDD, BDD / Gherkin.
Practical experience with web testing or development.
Experience and in-depth knowledge of one or more programming languages (ex: JavaScript, Java, C#, etc.).
Experience with one or more test tools & frameworks (ex: Selenium Web driver, cypress, Karate, JMeter, etc.).
Knowledge or experience with pipelines, Jenkins, and CI / CD processes.
Experience in defining and reviewing Test Cases & Plans.
Experience working in SCRUM environments.
What You Will Be Doing
Perform Pre and Post application and data migration validations.
Problem Solving, Issue Resolution, Sense of urgency in solving production issues.
Perform Data, Log Analysis and identify the root cause.
Able to identify business risks & contribute to user story definition.
Able to identify business risks & contribute to user story definition.
Creativity and thinking out-of-the-box as this project heart of store technology.
Team player mentality, actively cooperating with both engineering and non-engineering colleagues.
Practical experience with web testing or development.
