United Water Restoration Office Administrator / Bookkeeper in Islandia, New York
We at United Water Restoration Group of Long Island are home improvement problem solvers. Our first responder technicians handle 24/7 emergency property damage service projects for hazards such as water, sewage, fire, smoke, mold, oil spills, etc. From that point on, we can manage residential & commercial projects (and building owner stress levels) from the initial mess all the way to success.
Mission of this Position
To enforce accountability for timely, detailed information and communication throughout the organization.
You are the day-to-day coordinator of all projects and core business functions.
Organized, Proactive, and Resourceful.
Serve as the nucleus of our team; Help direct resources and prioritize activities.
When things get turbulent, you maintain a sense of calm and focus to steady the ship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We perform Emergency Services: Expedite dispatch of all incoming job leads to Operations and remain highly responsive during standard operating hours.
Coordination of all projects daily. Communication with stakeholders for critical activities.
General bookkeeping functions e.g. AR/AP accounting, invoicing, banking, expense reporting, etc.
Quality Assurance of project documentation (scope, notes, photos, estimates) for details & accuracy within job management software system.
Relationship management, administrative compliance, and follow-up with insurance carriers and TPA Programs. Use knowledge policy coverages and industry best practices.
Maintain immaculate filing system, for both paper and electronic documents. Uphold the security and confidentiality of all company information.
Ambassador of customer satisfaction within the company.
Resource management and maintenance for all moving parts of the office, including supply inventory & cleaning.
Create an office atmosphere of positivity, cleanliness, professionalism, and efficiency.
Continued Education: Increase knowledge and skills to stimulate constant growth & improvement.
Provide specialized support to Operations Manager & CEO, as required
Marketing Assistant: build/connect with our professional network toward business development.
