Robert Half Payroll Supervisor in Issaquah, Washington

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director to join our team in Issaquah, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities necessary to process bi-weekly confidential in-house administrative payroll, regulatory reporting & compliance requirements, and administration of labor union contracts. This role also involves providing customer service support for payroll related issues and maintaining company documents and compliance filings as required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of bi-weekly confidential in-house administrative payroll

• Administer labor union contracts requirements

• Manage regulatory reporting and compliance requirements, including certified payroll reporting

• Provide customer service support for payroll related issues

• Maintain company documents and compliance filings as required

• Complete payroll tax filings and other related duties as needed

• Work closely with the Benefits & Compensation Specialist to complete the accounting functions of employee benefits

• Support HR Department for new hires/separations, federal reporting, and miscellaneous duties as needed

• Utilize skills in Union Contracts, Payroll for 101-500 Employees, Regulatory Reporting, Compliance, Payroll Taxes, Payroll Tax Returns, and Compensation & Benefits.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $119,500.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in managing payroll for 101 - 500 employees

• Proficiency in handling Union Contracts

• Expertise in Regulatory Reporting and Compliance

• Strong knowledge and experience in Payroll Taxes and Payroll Tax Returns

• Proven experience in Compensation and Benefits

• Ability to ensure compliance with relevant payroll laws and regulations

• Strong leadership skills to supervise and guide a payroll team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in using payroll software and other related IT systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
