Job Description:
The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Florida, Jacksonville is seeking an applicant to fill the position as a Medical Director of Pain Management. Academic rank will be Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, depending on applicants’ experience.
This is a unique opportunity to experience the finest aspects of both the academic and private sectors! The anesthesiology department at UF College of Medicine-Jacksonville is a medium-sized academic practice. We are currently looking anesthesiologists who are board-certified in pain management. Our clinical sites are a level 1 trauma center and a fast-paced community hospital nearby. This position is for those interested in resident education, scholarly activity, clinical research, and the intellectually stimulating aspects of academia. The main campus is a primary training site with a higher level of acuity, and a full range of service lines. Our physicians, CRNAs, CAAs, and residents comprise a collegial, tight-knit group who enjoy working together and appreciate a proper work/life balance. All of us revel in the quality of life here in Northeast Florida and want to ensure that we are able to fully partake in it! We work hard and diligently, but we don’t overwork anyone. Expected Salary:
Negotiable base on experience and academic appointment.
Minimum Requirements:Applicants must possess MD/DO degree and possess or be eligible for a Florida Medical License.
Preferred Qualifications:
BE/BC in Pain Management Anesthesiologists
