Job Description:

The University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine seeks candidates for a faculty for immediate recruitment at non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/ Associate /Full Professor levels.

The division has strong subspecialty programs including ILD, sarcoidosis, pulmonary vascular disease, sleep disorders. We have a 28-bed medical ICU and provide inpatient general pulmonary consultative and procedural services. We have fellowship programs in Pulmonary, Critical Care. Teaching responsibilities include teaching graduate or medical students in the School of Medicine and patient care. Our faculty are involved in both translational sciences and clinical research.

We plan to expand our MICU and outpatient services. Interest in critical care, asthma, COPD, sleep, interventional pulmonology and clinical or basic science research is a plus.

Expected Salary:

Salary is negotiable; commensurate with experience and qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants will have an MD, eligible for Florida medical license, and board certification in Internal Medicine. They must also be board-certified/eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care.

Preferred Qualifications:

Board eligibility or board certification in Sleep Medicine and is desired but not required.
