Sodexo Area General Manager in JACKSONVILLE, Florida

Sodexo is seeking an Area General Manager for our portfolio of Corporate Services Food accounts in the Jacksonville, FL area. The Area General Manager will support our food service operations including retail cafés, internal catering services, and food production. This hands on position requires an individual with exceptional drive, initiative, creativity and excellent client communications skills. This manager will oversee a team of managers and about 30-40 hourly Sodexo staff and the work schedule for this position is typically Monday thru Friday, with occasional weekends required.
This new position will be overseeing premiere food service accounts in the region; this role is highly visible and critical to the success of unit.
The successful candidate will:
have oversight of daily food operations in multiple units and ensure we deliver a high-quality product;
achieve company and client financial targets and goals to include oversight of cash-handling and the POS systems;
develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) and management staff;
ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.

A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
experience managing multiple locations
have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;
possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;
exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.
The target salary for this position is $110k annually
