C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. CDL Class A Driver; Baldwin in Jacksonville, Florida

Description

  • Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product

  • Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day

  • Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements

  • Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Store : Freezer (-20F to 0F)

  • Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)

  • Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

  • Specialized Knowledge : DOT Certified, Class A Commercial Driver's License

  • Special Skills : Must be at least 21 years old

  • Physical abilities: : Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam.

  • Other: : Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirements

  • Comply with FMCSR/DOT/Company policies and procedures :

Years Of Experience

  • 1-2 : Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience

  • 1-2 : Supporting a large Enterprise Storage environment

  • 1-2 : One year of recent applicable CMV experience and participation/completion of a company approved CDL truck driving school
