Overview:
Aerotek has an opening for a Contracts Negotiator / Manager at the corporate office in Jacksonville, FL.
Job Summary:
The Contracts Manager is responsible for assisting in defining, developing and implementing policies and practices necessary for contract negotiation and compliance. He/she will support the Finance Team and Legal in making decisions, by providing Contractual guidance towards successful negotiations while minimizing Company risk. He/she will work closely with all departments within the organization to establish accurate and timely contractual set-up. He/she will assist in developing and implementing contractual relationships through the proposal, contract negotiation, award, administration and closeout phases. He/she shall be responsible for successful negotiation and execution of agreements/subcontracts for existing and new clients.
Essential Functions:
Contract negotiations
Tracking of all Contractual Documents and creation of Contract Summary documents
Business risk management and contract compliance
Contract administration and compliance program best practices
Provide support to Finance team in making go/no-go decisions
Signature authority on Contracts (including Modifications), Teaming Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements
Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:
Degree in Business or related field is required
Government Experience preferred
