We are seeking a maintenance technician with experience working on Conveyor systems and packaging machines. This company is located on the Northwest side of Jacksonville and is actively looking to bring on a qualified candidate. Pay is between $25-$32/hr on the 1st shift. Responsibilities
Conduct preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, including belt inspections and replacements, lubrication, tension adjustments, and cleaning.
Troubleshoot and repair conveyor malfunctions, identifying the root cause of issues and implementing effective solutions.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair conveyor components.
Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures when working on conveyor systems and electrical equipment.
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, documenting inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.
Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to resolve complex conveyor issues.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new conveyor equipment.
May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
