JOB DESCRIPTION:

This job is responsible for providing analytical support in a Global Markets Operations function for one or more operations product areas. Key responsibilities include analyzing and resolving highly complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. Job expectations include managing projects and the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products, services, and processes and coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Confirms loan documentation for accurate trade settlements

  • Partners with Sales Associates, Traders, Research Analysts, trading counterparties, internal and external attorneys, administrative agent banks, and various other internal operations groups

  • Manages post-trade management and logistics, settlement pricing, and closing coordination

  • Analyzes and resolves highly complex operational problems

  • Supports ad-hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives

  • Processes loans end-to-end with accurate data input into various credit and operating systems

  • Execute and manage daily Excel routines for batching and reporting.

  • Verify accuracy and completeness of batching processes and reporting.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely workflows.

  • Maintain and update process documentation and procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, to include V-Lookups, Pivot Tables and the ability to handle large volumes of data.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth and timely reporting.

  • Formulating ideas for automation.

  • Assessing and analyzing key data points and translating key data points into both email and PowerPoint formats

  • Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; strong sense of ownership & ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once by prioritization and meeting deadlines.

  • Must be flexible and have experience working in a fast paced & high-pressure environment.

  • Ability to challenge the status quo, produce appropriate changes and implement goals.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency and engage in strategic and industry change initiatives.

  • Preparing documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and raising of risk related issues to management.
