Responsibilities

Job Overview: We are actively hiring for a PRN Radiology Scrub Tech

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:

· Serve as scrub technologist working diligently with the surgeon and providing required assistance to the surgeon during procedures.

· Responsible for preparing the room and maintaining a sterile environment throughout all procedures.

· Ensures instruments and supplies are available as required by the surgeon during procedures.

· Maintain procedure rooms for necessary supplies and materials.

· Ensures cleanliness of procedure rooms.

· Orders supplies as needed to ensure availability for future procedures.

· Maintains knowledge of compliance requirements in accordance with job related duties, addressing Practice Manager with issues or concerns requiring clarification.

· Providing required assistance to surgeons during procedures.

· Must be able to function in both sterile and non-sterile fields

· May be stationed consistently in the procedure room throughout the day.

· Provide support for RNs in providing direct care to patients.

· Perform other jobs as needed and directed by Practice Manager.

Qualifications

  • Must have scrub experience.

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Completion of an accredited radiology program.

  • ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) as required by state.

  • Current BLS – CPR Certification.

  • Skill in identifying problems and researching and recommending solutions.

  • Skill in preparing and maintaining electronic health records and writing reports.

    Radiology Technologist/ Radiographer Preferred:

  • Certification in radiation technology is preferred.

    USD $22.45/Hr. USD $39.95/Hr.
