Water Resources Engineer- EDC
Job Description
We are actively seeking a talented civil engineer to expand our Water Resources Group. This key role involves a wide range of civil engineering and water resources related projects. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to design and build solutions that impact ecosystems, watersheds, and communities. The initial assignment will be supporting Engineering During Construction (EDC) services for large, heavy civil, water resources projects, related to the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan. Projects include mass excavation, dredging, canal widening, embankments, levees, pump stations, etc. The role also involves acting as a Resident Engineer, providing quality assurance, reviewing submittals and RFIs, researching plans and specs, developing solutions, responding to contractors, construction observation, creating a punch list, and completing the project closeout.

The position is based on-site at a construction trailer full time. The ideal location would be in Palm Beach or Western Broward County, based on current projects. The initial assignment could be at Okeechobee Field Station (north end of the Lake), North New River Canal (South of South Bay on US-27), or Miami Canal (near Lake Harbor).
