GEA MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT US INC Customer Service Representative in JANESVILLE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) works as a member of the spare parts order handling team within the NAM Service organization. They maintain relationships with major customers, creates offers, processes orders, and communicates order status, etc. as efficiently as possible while providing the highest level of customer service. The CSR remains attentive to customer needs for Spare Parts sales opportunities and communicates with Field Service, and Authorized Repair Shop for other customer needs. The position reports to the respective Team Leader for the Equipment spare parts order handling teams. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage incoming customer requests for all GEA equipment, including parts clarification and request routing to the proper personnel (Includes Shared Inbox Customer Handling) Efficiently processes orders (within CRM/ERP & online via customer portals) as well returns/warranties The CSR is responsible for participating in their employer\'s training and development programs Assist the Team Leader to gather and report status changes for department orders that may impact expected and requested delivery dates as necessary Interface with the parts warehouse and/or GEA factories on internal purchase orders and deliveries, including expedited processing for urgent requests Works with the Team Leader to learn and follow best practices and optimize the work flow with other departments (purchasing, logistics, accounting, sales, etc.) Balances open tasks with other customer support priorities within the team or department when known. Part Sales department tasks and assignments as directed by department manager. Able to work in a busy office setting, staying on task when processing offers, orders, etc. efficiently and accurately in a timely and professional manner. Ability to read & correctly interpret customer requests. Experience working with OEM factories and industrial suppliers is desirable A working knowledge of industrial and sanitary processing equipment is desirable Able to multi-task and work under pressure Self-motivated and highly organized. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
