Position Details

o Position Start Date: As soon aspossible

o Terms/Schedule: 7.5 Hours Per Day

o Pay: $25/hr

o Length: Full School Year

Description:

Paraprofessional - SpecialEducation positions (7.5 hours per day) across various elementary, middle, andhigh schools.

Qualifications:

o Strong interpersonal, organization, oral andwritten communication skills.

o Personal computer skills or willingness tolearn.

o High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.

o Interest in working with students with specialneeds.

o Ability to assist students in learning and towork cooperatively with professional staff supervision.

o Demonstrable human relations skills.

o Must have completed a minimum of 48 credithours post-secondary education; or have an associate’s degree; or meet requiredassessment criteria.

o Must obtain a Special Education Program Aidelicense.
