Job Title: Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the clinical services provided by our team of professionals, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. The Clinical Supervisor will also provide guidance and support to our staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to our team of professionals, including monthly individual caseload staffing, progress on treatment plans, and overall needs of individual cases.

  • Facilitate case consultation and assistance to clinicians, paraprofessionals, and administrative staff associated with clients.

  • Conduct multidisciplinary staffing and recruit, hire, train, and provide supervision of new and current team members.

  • Attend regular leadership meetings and other meetings/trainings as required.

  • Review and approve weekly staff timesheets, paid time off requests, and expenses at regular intervals consistent with PFH payroll cycles.

  • Facilitate weekly clinical staffing, team meetings, and/or other staffing needs. Complete documentation and maintain records.

  • Provide clinical support and staffing for referrals to other agencies.

  • Complete associate performance evaluations in a manner that promotes timely and effective professional development and continuous quality improvement.

  • Collaborate with other Clinical Supervisors to share resources and improve service delivery.

  • Ensure that orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for staff members are met and that staff members receive training necessary to improve working knowledge of designated job duties to enhance service provision.

  • Review, track, and assign referrals as needed in a timely manner. Cultivate and maintain community and stakeholder relationships.

  • Provide oversight to services of assigned staff to include: completing weekly checks on staff productivity to ensure that the services rendered are appropriate and clinically justified, monitoring progress notes for thoroughness and completeness, and utilizing all applicable reporting tools to monitor efficiency and time management.

  • Assist program specific directors in implementing programmatic requirements and standards that promote quality outcomes, integration, and fiscal responsibility.

  • Coordinate services and collaborate with outside agencies to provide comprehensive services to clients and their families. Serve as the Licensed Behavioral Health Provider for collaborative treatment.

  • Review initial treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, and modifications to ensure they meet required documentation guidelines and are outcome-driven.

  • Handle difficult situations involving associates and conflicts in a direct manner, using appropriate discretion and Human Resource advice to show respect for the individual.

  • Monitor revenue and manage expenditures for the assigned area.

  • Provide clinical coverage in accordance with licensing standards by scheduling staff, arranging substitute coverage during staff absences, and approving staff leave requests in a manner that anticipates program needs. Monitor and follow up.

  • Assist with preparation of audits and accreditation events.

  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are being implemented to guide and support the provision of services provided. Recommend any policy and procedure changes to assigned direct reports.

  • Assist in gathering information for QI quarterly reports and indicators.

  • Oversee environmental conditions in terms of safety, cleanliness, vehicles, food, and coordination with operations personnel.

  • Demonstrate interest in long-term and short-term goals and objectives of the company.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, Vice President of Integrated Health Services, or Executive Team members.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of case management and behavioral health methods, principles, and techniques as they relate to mental/behavioral health services.

  • Knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of the program to which the associate is assigned.

  • Detailed knowledge of the problems encountered by persons with mental illness and substance use disorders residing in the community and how to access the various community resources available.

  • Considerable knowledge of the methods and modalities as well as the legal requirements and court procedures related to treating mental illnesses.

  • Skilled in effective supervision and training methods and principles.

  • Aptitude to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within
