job summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. Responsible for inventory accuracy and reconciliation on a daily basis, managing daily cycle count of all products. Investigate variances, identify underlying causes of variances, formulate and implement corrective action. A successful Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory. The Cycle Counter will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers. Responsibilities: * Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports. *Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. * Assist in determining root causes of inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors. *Perform cycle counts using an RF scanner while adhering to the cycle counting process, procedures and guidelines *Research discrepancies between physical and system count to find root cause *Communicate cycle count findings to Inventory Management *Ensure any and all damages are accurately reported * Any other tasks or projects may be assigned by Supervisor or Manager. Requirements and Qualification: * Minimum 1 year experience in Quality Control and/or Shipping/Receiving * Basic computer/RF Scanner knowledge * Excellent math, reading, communication (verbal and written) and problem solving skills *Strong Attention to detail, solid judgment and decision making skills * Ability to squat, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions * Ability to lift up to 35 lbs able to work in a fast paced environment * Perform different job functions within the organizations warehouse department * Must be able to work in a team as well as independently * Must be able to follow procedures
