GE Healthcare Marketing Director, Patient Care Solutions, EAGM in Johannesburg, South Africa

Job Description Summary

The marketing director will be responsible for developing an integrated marketing plan to support the Patient Care Solutions (PCS) growth plan, and lead marketing alignment between regions and GE HealthCare modalities for EAGM(Eurasian and African Growth Markets) region. The Marketing Director will collaborate with PCS Segment Managers to develop a marketing platform both for internal and external users, and drive care area focus to enhance synchrony amongst our PCS solutions. The selected candidate will also drive communications both internal and external to upkeep GE HealthCare branding and raise awareness in alignment with PCS strategies in alignment with our go to market strategy. He/She will be a key pillar in developing and implementing operational mechanisms to streamline and maximize the marketing department.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies/ initiatives for Patient Care Solutions products (PCS)

  • Supervise the PCS Marketing team and provide guidance and feedback to the marketing professionals and extended functions

  • Drive execution of annual marketing plan and go to market strategy

  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently

  • Plan and execute campaigns for segment activities, timely launching of new products and install base initiatives

  • Drive market intelligence, market sizing, competitive intelligence and portfolio segmentation

  • Drive sales enablement through content creation and library availability to ensure all content is up to date and available to both direct and indirect colleagues

  • Execute quarterly communications from newsletters to townhalls to social media brand/product awareness

  • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources amongst initiatives to ensure maximum ROI.

  • Maintain brand standards and ensures compliance throughout external content

  • Build Key opinion leaders’ data base to leverage from insights, events and campaigns

  • Work closely with the sales team to unify sales and marketing strategies

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a marketing director in the Healthcare sector

  • Degree in marketing, communication, or similar relevant field

  • In depth knowledge of market research

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Team player

  • Proficient in Microsoft office

  • Expertise in CRMs such as Sales force.com, DOMO and Power BI
