We are currently recruiting for a National Commercial Market & Access Manager to join our team focusing on Haemophilia. This is an exciting opportunity to join Takeda and drive commercial and strategic initiatives within Takeda’s Haemophilia portfolio in both Private & Public sectors.

As a National Commercial Market & Access Manager​ the roles and responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate closely with all partners directly touching the Haemophilia patient journey, gaining a deeper understanding of patient and Health Care Professional (HCP) needs and co-creating meaningful solutions for maximum impact.

  • The role would be responsible for developing, implementing and delivering on the brand strategy & value proposition of Takeda’s innovative life-changing treatments to relevant stakeholders in both the private and public sector in a credible manner.

  • Establish and advance Takeda as a partner of the RSA government at all relevant levels, including the National Department of Health, through effective management of external relationships and fostering partnerships in the Haemophilia therapeutic area to improve access & funding for Takeda’s Haemophilia portfolio

  • General funding responsibility for the designated portfolio in both Private & Public sectors.

  • Strategic management & implementation of all aspects related to the availability, marketing, and access (funding and pricing) of Takeda’s Haemophilia products

  • Market Access responsibility for select Rare Diseases – both private & public sectors

The key requirements for this role are;

  • Degree educated in a Science based subject

  • 5+ years’ experience in Pharma/Biotech company with a strong scientific and patient centric approach

  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing & market access related roles

  • Experience in operational tender management in the public sector is preferred

  • Proven record of implementing innovative access programs to broaden market scope

  • Full and valid drivers’ license and own vehicle to use for business

  • Ability to travel locally within country, international travel may be required

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrable learning agility

  • Demonstrable experience in creation and implementation of improving patients access and Understanding of the key drivers to satisfy customer needs using digital and non-digital platforms.

  • Marketing acumen - translation of the patient journey, prioritizing patient needs and solutions to improve outcomes

  • Patient-centricity- willingness to go the extra mile
