Nuclear Medicine Technologist, UHS Wilson Medical Center United Health Services is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our WMC Diagnostic Imaging department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. This is a Per Diem position.

Overview
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the ordering, preparation, and administration of radiopharmaceutical materials to patients. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates gamma equipment or thyroid uptake and probe for the visualization for both the structure and function of major organ systems within the body. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist utilizes knowledge of radiation physics and safety in the preparation, measurement, and administration of isotopes.
Qualifications
Education/ExperienceMinimum Required:Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Nuclear MedicinePreferred:Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine.
License/CertificationMinimum Required:
NYS Radiologic Technologist license in Nuclear Medicine AND NMTCB or ARRT(N) eligible
NMTCB or ARRT(N) certified within six (6) months of hire
