UHS Respiratory Therapist II-1 in Johnson City, New York

Respiratory Therapist II-1, UHS Wilson Medical Center United Health Services is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II-1 to join our WMC Pulmonary department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$33.63 - $50.45 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

To ensure that Respiratory Therapy services rendered (the evaluation and treatment of patients) are completed in a timely, accurate and reliable manner. Those served include inpatients, outpatients, UHS staff and employees as well as affiliated UHSH community groups as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory Therapy

  • CRT credentialed Respiratory Therapist must have at least 10 years of experience to be eligible for Respiratory Therapist 2

  • Two (2) years of Critical Care/Acute Care experience as a Respiratory Therapist OR one (1) year of demonstrated ability as a Respiratory Therapist I within UHS

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy

    License/Certification

Minimum Required:

  • New York State Respiratory Therapy License

  • BLS/CPR Certification upon hire and ACLS within 3 months of hire
