You'll be responsible for meeting manufacturing requirements, determining machining processes, working with various metals/materials, and programming with G-Code and/or CAM. Additionally, you'll select tooling, verify tolerances, and perform routine machine maintenance. Responsibilities
Able to interpret blueprints and precision drawings.
CAD experience is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude
Able to troubleshoot CNC programs for errors and issues.
Able to set up and operate CNC equipment throughout Tool Shop
Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers) to take accurate measurements.
Minimum of 5 years+ experience machining or completed a Toolmaker or Machinist
apprenticeship.
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
