The Tennessee Credit Union Teller Supervisor in Johnson City, Tennessee

We are looking for aTeller Supervisorto join our Johnson City, TN location.

Day-to-Day Job Duties:

This position is an entry level supervisor position responsible for supervising day to day operations of the Johnson City branch teller line and ensuring the branch provides exceptional member service, while making referrals and cross selling products and services to achieve goals.

In addition, theTeller Supervisorwill:

  • Ensure efficient operation of branch personnel, vault operations and equipment.
  • Interview members and input consumer loan applications.
  • Assist centralized lenders in closing consumer loans.
  • Assist members with account opening and maintenance of all deposit products and ancillary services.
  • Supervise personnel with assigned branch while maintaining the ability to perform the essential job functions of all branch positions.
  • Monitor all branch activities to ensure adherence to credit union policy and procedure and regulatory compliance. Coach, train, and develop employees to exceed in their job functions.

Compensation:Depends on experience

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Three years' experience working in retail operations of a credit union, bank, or financial institution.
  3. Experience in management preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Thorough knowledge of credit union accounts, products, services and credit union operations.
  2. Observance of credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  3. Demonstrate strategic thinking, leadership, and teamwork.
  4. Accuracy in cash handling and transactions; above-average math skills.
  5. Proficiency working with computers and office equipment.
  6. Good interpersonal skills:
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; communication skills in other languages desirable.
  8. Ability to travel on an irregular basis.
