Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will serve as the Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) action officer. You will provide expert support in areas to include automation, telecommunications, records management, visual information, printing and publications. You will provide support with a focus on identifying and planning for the integration of new and emerging technologies within the IM/IT disciplines to support the Command. You will provide technical expertise and management on the implementation of assigned Information Mission Area (IMA) related program and projects. You will develop and/or provide technical analysis of new and emerging technologies and their implications on the short- and long-term IMA planning. You will provide technical expertise and management on the implementation of assigned IMA related program and projects. You will review directives, policies, programs, enterprise-wide functional user requirements and acquisition strategies/vehicles for IM related issues to determine the impact and implication in supporting IM systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For all Information Technology position applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. AND Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience identifying issues and resolving critical problems and primarily concerns command-wide special projects. 2) Experience and knowledge of the intent and purpose of DoD, Navy, and Command policy and agreements and how they impact on the design, procurement, integration and development of new and emerging technologies. 3) Experience communicating with internal and external customers.
