Responsibilities

The Receptionist performs clerical duties for the department such as answering telephones, greeting patients, and preparing requisitions for patients. Other duties include, but are not limited to, filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Receptionist should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology in the department. This person should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner. Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, and by running errands throughout the facility.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  2. 1 year experience in receptionist work preferred.

  3. Customer Services experience preferred.

  4. Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

  5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timeline.
