Position Summary:
The Administrative Analyst is responsible for conducting special research studies, analyzing data, preparing statistics, making recommendations based on research findings, and monitoring and coordinating project/program activities. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institution policy
Duties & Responsibilities:
HSS building liaison
Schedules all classes per semester for the 45 HSS classrooms
Schedules meetings in HSS as requested by individuals from across campus
Manages keys and electronic key boxes per department in HSS
Reviews safety procedures, updates and communicates changes to building users including HSS, Fowler Center, Fine Arts, Art Annex, and ED/COMM
Maintains IED machine
Provides general IT trouble-shooting to support faculty
Maintains HSS Digital Signage
Performs Receptionist Duties for Dean’s Office
Serves as back-up for initiating travel, requisitions, and budget transfers
Reviews PRT calendar and reminds the Dean and Chairs of PRT deadlines
Types and produces PRT letters/submits to AAR/transmits to faculty
Facilitates PRT College Committee workflow
Types, produces, and sends various donor letters
Transmits official communication to CLAC faculty on behalf of the Dean’s Office
Supervises student workers (5 or 6 per year) and provides professional office training for each student worker
Takes meeting minutes as requested by the Dean
Collects conflict of interest forms from departments
Maintains college website
Helps to coordinate college events
Maintains the Dean’s and Associate Dean’s calendars and scheduling meetings for them
Maintains official college committee rosters
Collects and transmits official documents to the Registrar’s Office
Orders plaques and certificates for college award winners for College Honors Ceremony
Advertises and promotes college events
Maintains personnel files
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of planning, research, and analysis techniques and procedures
Knowledge of department operations, policies, and procedures
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Ability to plan and execute systems and organizational analysis and feasibility studies
Ability to conduct research and perform quantitative quality assurance reviews
Ability to research, prepare, and present comprehensive written and oral reports
Ability to organize and conduct meetings and workshops
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of an earned Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, general business, or a related field
Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or parts of these basic requirements upon approval of the qualifications review committee
