Great Lakes Management Co. Maintenance Technician in Jordan, Minnesota
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Great Lakes Management! 40 hours per week, 32 hours between Brentwood Court and Brentwood Terrace of Jordan, MN, and one day per week floating to other GLM locations within Scott County. This position is required to be a part of an on-call rotation, two weeks off-call and one week on-call in Scott County. Benefits: 401(k) Match Excellent and Affordable Healthcare Benefits Paid Vacation and Sick Time Paid Holidays Floating Holidays Tuition Discount Opportunities Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: * Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed. * Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently. * Report any problems/deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance * Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues. * Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns * Maintain the grounds; trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc * Test the resident security systems as required. * Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc. * Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed. Maintenance Technician Qualifications: * Maintenance experience required, preferably in residential property management. * Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows. Maintenance Technician Working Hours: This position is required to be a part of an on-call rotation, two weeks off-call and one week on-call in Scott County.
