We are searching for the best talent for Materials Clerk to be in Juarez, Independencia.

Purpose:

  • Responsible to prepare production kits based on the production plan provided by the Production planning and scheduling team.

  • Accountable to maintain the inventory locations as per the plan and to perform cycle count on a regular basis.

You will be responsible for:

  • Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepares kits for issue to the floor following production planning prioritization.

  • Manages inventory storage and placement (vault attendant)

  • Notifies Production Planner of material shortages.

  • Release batches to manufacturing through MRP System.

  • Cycle count when needed.

  • Follow current compliance regulations and standards.

  • Perform other jobs as required.

  • Ensure compliance to the quality policy in all activities.

  • Support and promote the safety and industrial hygiene objectives of the plant.

  • Support continuous improvement programs such Lean Manufacturing, kaizens, 6S, etc.

  • Maintain accurate WIP reports vs. Production plan.

Qualifications

  • From 0-2 years of experience in related fields

  • A minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Strong computer skills

  • Good communication skills, to interface with manufacturing, engineering, materials management, quality control, purchasing, customs and all other departments as needed.

  • Working knowledge of PC applications and software (MS Windows, Excel, etc.)

  • Good basic math skills

  • Knowledge of ERP Systems concept (MRP)

  • Previous clerical experience desired

  • Previous manufacturing experience desired

  • Basic English writing and reading skills preferred.
