Position Specific Description

To support this exciting business growth opportunity, we are looking for an Event Planner to collaborate with a cross-functional team to execute event logistics, sponsorships and marketing. In this role you will:

• Collaborate with Business Unit stakeholders and Sales teams to create and participate in events that support the organization’s business objectives and campaign strategies.

• Manage event vendors and materials (promotional products, supplies, etc.), staying in budget and on schedule.

• Oversee a schedule of events, project plans and detailed task lists to ensure successful event execution.

• Create event reports summarizing outcomes, lessons learned and opportunities generated.

• Research vendors and event sponsorship opportunities make recommendations based on requirements, quality and cost.

• Manage set-up and all logistical requirements as needed.

• This role requires approximately 40% travel

Job Overview

Employees in this role assume primary responsibility for tactical execution of company sponsorship events and conferences including the successful planning and execution of multiple events associated with the events. Individuals are responsible for all internal and external marketing associated with these events as well as identifying new opportunities to leverage these assets.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluates new opportunities and plans, coordinates, and executes events and sponsorships

  • Maintains schedule of events and manages event budgets

  • Works closely with internal and external clients to ensure successful marketing of the company brand and vision at all events

  • Manages vendors and alliance partners

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience: 2+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's - Business Administration
