Description:
The Inventory Control Clerk position is responsible for processing inventory transactions in ERP system. Performs random cycle as needed. Receive inventory from vendors as well as transfers from facilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receive UPS and FedEx type shipments.
• Process material transfers between stockrooms
• Receive and unload freight truck shipments using a forklift.
• Verify count, print and install barcode labels on incoming inventory.
•·Verify and print vehicle build sheets for the installation bay
• Create bins and place them on the shelf in the inventory room for upcoming builds
• Assemble basic components such as arrow sticks and label siren controller touchpads
• Use hand held scanner to properly pick parts
• Performs random cycle counts
• Compile inventory accuracy detail based on the cycle counting
• Process material receiving transactions as needed
• Special projects as assigned
• Lead and active participation in year-end inventory count process.
• Re-stock wire roll racks and hardware bins as needed to ensure a constant supply for the bay
• Communicate with vendors when a component arrives damaged.
