DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician - Level II to join our team specializing in Service for our Distribution Business Unit in Jwaneng, Botswana.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and software. This includes translating customer complaints into actionable repair plans and validating repairs to ensure issues are resolved.

  • Attention to Detail: The ability to follow guidelines meticulously for disassembling, assembling, inspecting, and replacing parts. Ensuring repairs are done within standard times and maintaining a clean, organized work environment are crucial.

  • Effective Communication: Excellent documentation skills to record troubleshooting steps, repairs, and maintenance activities. This ensures accurate historical tracking and seamless communication for payment and service records.

  • Customer Focus: A strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer expectations. Building relationships, supporting account strategies, and ensuring quality standards are met will help grow customer loyalty and satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience:

  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)

  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

  • Locally valid driving permit

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Basic level field service work experience

  • Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

  • Customer service experience
