Job Title: CAD Designer
Job Description
The CAD Designer will develop and design pneumatic and liquid electromagnetic solenoid valves. This role includes making engineering changes and updating engineering databases. . A significant portion of the work involves converting SolidEdge designs.
Responsibilities
Attend regular development meetings
Incorporate feedback into 3D model designs
Make revisions to models as requested
Run simulations and stress tests on all 3D models before prototyping
Keep up to date on all modern advancements in material and software technologies
Utilize large databases of material property information to best select materials for modeling
Essential Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks
Proficiency in Solid Edge
At least one year of product design experience, preferably with plastics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering Certificate or Associate's degree in CAD
Work Environment
The role will start as a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension based on workload and business needs. The position requires working onsite from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
