Aerotek Cnc Machinist in Kalamazoo, Michigan
Job Description:
Seeking 2 skilled CNC Machinist on 2nd shift to take on a dynamic role involving the entire machining process from start to finish. The machinist will be responsible for reading work orders and blueprints, starting up machines, performing changeovers/tool changes, adjusting programs, and running quality parts. Will be responsible for quality control and must be comfortable using precision measuring instruments. This role offers a chance to work with advanced equipment, including HAAS mills, Swiss lathes, and various 3 & 4-axis CNC mills and lathes. This role will primarily consist of low-high volume production machining.

3:30 PM - 1:30 AM Monday-Thursday with optional overtime on Friday

Qualifications:
Must be able to operate multi-axis CNC equipment, read blueprints, use basic machining gages, and understand standard machining terminology and principles
Must be able to set up machines and work with a defined process to produce quality products
Must be able to demonstrate good judgement in decision making and problem solving
